A common and costly problem with models using a spring washer on the countershaft sprocket is that the OEM washer wears out, thus not providing enough tension on the countershaft sprocket, seals and bushings. Over time, this inadequate tension leads to leaky and prematurely worn countershaft components. Dirt Tricks’ solution to this problem was to create their own stronger spring washer that will hold up to the abuse you put your machine through.
